Kristen Stewart is a Snuff Film Star in "Cali" Action Movie

Kristen Stewart (Twilight) has signed on to star in "Cali," a dark action film written by Michael Diliberti (30 Minutes or Less). Producers are currently speaking to a number of directors with hopes of starting production at then end of summer.

The story follows Mya (Stewart) and Chris, a pair of San Fernando Valley lovebirds with a penchant for bad choices and dangerous behavior. After selling a fake snuff film featuring Mya, they ride off into the sunset with a bundle of cash. Years later, Mya must "return from the dead" to save the younger sister she left behind in Cali, where the young couple contends with angry former business partners, homicidal porn stars, stoner vet techs, an unstoppable killing machine in a cowboy hat and their own contentious relationship.

"Kristen is a talented and dynamic actor, with a proven box office draw," said producer Craig Flores (300). "Her role in 'Cali' will be edgy and sexy. It will no doubt push the envelope on the public's view of Kristen's wide-ranging abilities."

Finally! Kristen Stewart calls Robert Pattinson her 'boyfriend' for the first time

Remember all the fuss about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson when they first started going out? Well these days they're practically an old married couple, but guess what? K-Stew has never actually admitted that R-Pattz is her boyfriend… until now.
In an interview with British GQ, Kristen let slip that she' s keen to see more of England because "my boyfriend is English".
Like, OMG!
But the moment of revelation was short-lived. When the interviewer pushed for more info, Kristen reverted to her usual lip-biting, withdrawn self, complaining, "I never would have said that if I knew you were going to be interviewing me."
She went on to talk about how much she guards her private life, but shared her plans for motherhood… and how she'll even keep her kids' name a secret!

“Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart: Forbidden To Be Together In Public,” reads the headline of a story from HollywoodLife.
According to the webloid, “Rob was noticeably absent” from the premiere of Paul McCartney’s new music video, “My Valentine,” which Stewart attended, “but it wasn’t because [Pattinson] didn’t want to be there.”
The facts-challenged site reports that Pattinson and Stewart “have a clause in their Twilight contracts that they can only appear together at a Twilight themed red carpet together. Twilight kind of owns some of their appearances they do together until Breaking Dawn is 100% completed.”
“It’s too bad work is keeping the couple from going out together,” chimes in the bad blog, adding, “but we totally understand!”
Unfortunately, HollywoodLife understands virtually nothing.
The claims that Pattinson and Stewart “have a clause in their Twilight contracts that they can only appear together at a Twilight themed red carpet together” is 100 percent nonsense and patently untrue.
The couple simply doesn’t market their private relationship publicly on red carpets.
“There is no such agreement,” confirms a source involved in Twilight to Gossip Cop.

The line-up for the 64th annual Cannes Film Festival was announced today and the red carpet will be overflowing with cozy couples — including our favorite Twilight pair!
Joining Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will be Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth, and new parents Emma Heming and Bruce Willis – there’s bound to be plenty of PDA!
Teen heartthrob Zac Efron is also confirmed for the star-studded event that runs from May 16 – May 27.
Last year, Brad’s film Tree of Life took Cannes’s top prize. This year, the star will have his future wife, Angelina, by his side when his newest project, Killing Them Softly, vies in competition.
Though Rob and Kristen are planning on turning up separately for their movies, Cosmopolis and On the Road, we’re sure to see the young couple sneaking in congratulatory smooches. Furthermore Rob is set to attend the Portugal premiere of Cosmopolis directly after Cannes. Maybe Kristen will come along as his date!

‘On the Road’ and Cronenberg’s ‘Cosmopolis’ head up a Cannes lineup with an American flavor

PARIS — American movies are taking center stage at the Cannes Film Festival, with a fistful of U.S. films and stars including Brad Pitt and Jessica Chastain in the 2012 line up announced Thursday.
Among some of the most anticipated titles of the year is an adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s Beat classic “On the Road.”

It’s one of 20 films battling for the May 16-27 festival’s coveted top prize, the Palme d’Or.
Announcing the slate at Paris’ Intercontinental Hotel, Cannes artistic director Thierry Fremaux said, “American cinema is back in force.”
A total of 54 features representing 26 countries — from the U.S. to Syria, Iran and Brazil — were chosen from a record-breaking 1,779 films submitted to organizers of the French Riviera festival. There’s a possibility for a few late additions in the coming weeks.
“The Artist” star Berenice Bejo will host the opening and closing ceremonies, with Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti chairing the festival’s judging panel.
Walter Salles’ ”On the Road,” tells the story of the years Kerouac spent traveling the United States in the 1940s with his friend Neal Cassady and several other figures who would go on to fame in their own right. Staring Sam Riley and “Twilight’’’s Kristen Stewart, it also features a performance from Kirsten Dunst, who won Cannes’ best actress award last year for her role in “Melancholia.”
Other U.S-slanted highlights include Andrew Dominik’s “Killing Them Softly” starring Brad Pitt as a mob enforcer, and “The Paperboy,” a drama with Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman by Lee Daniels, director of “Precious.”
“Lawless,” by John Hillcoat, director of “The Road,” stars Chastain and Tom Hardy in a tale of Depression-era bootleggers.
For Canadian director David Cronenberg, whose film “Cosmopolis” is among those in competition, the festival will be something of a family affair. His son Brandon’s debut feature, “Antiviral” is in the festival’s secondary competition, Un Certain Regard.
Screenings are expected to be packed to see if Cronenberg junior has the cinematic prowess of his veteran father, who came to fame with visceral films such as “Videodrome” and “Naked Lunch.”
“Cosmopolis,” based on the Don DeLillo novel, features Stewart’s “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattison.
For the young at heart, the 3-D animation “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” will also premiere at the festival, marking Cannes’ continuing friendship with Hollywood’s DreamWorks studios. The film features the vocal talents of Ben Stiller and Sacha Baron Cohen of “Borat” fame.
It is not the only 3-D offering included in the festival. For those with more nocturnal proclivities, Cannes will get out its garlic and wooden stakes for a midnight screening of Dario Argento’s highly awaited “Dracula” in 3-D.

K-Stew, 22, will be headed to Madrid on May 17, according to the Twitter of Spanish journalist Dani Martínez.
While K-Stew’s onscreen nemesis Charlize Theron will join her at the press event, we think Rob, 25, will be in the country as well. After all, he has no new projects on the horizon — and who wouldn’t want to hang out in Spain with Kristen?

And the artsiest of film fests is the perfect place to let loose with the upcoming film adaptation of Beat Generation kingpin Jack Kerouac's famed novel On the Road. Posters for Walter Salles' flick have been hitting the Internet for some time now, with the most recent depicting the cast's rising star, Kristen Stewart.

TWILIGHT stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be competing against each other for one of cinema's most prestigious prizes at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
R-Patz takes the lead role in David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis which will be shown in competition at the festival next month.
Also in the running for the Palme d'Or is Walter Salles' adaptation of the Beat Generation novel, On The Road, which features his co-star and girlfriend Kristen Stewart alongside Sam Riley and Kirsten Dunst.

Veteran director Ken Loach will carry British hopes with his new movie about an small-time criminal who is introduced to the world of high-end whisky distilleries. The Angels' Share is set in Glasgow and stars newcomer Paul Brannigan, Thick Of It actor Roger Allam and John Henshaw from Early Doors.
Also competing for the prestigious Palme d'Or are The Paper Boy, which stars John Cusack, Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman,

Robert Pattinson Planned Surprise Birthday Party for Kristen Stewart

Robert Pattinson planned the surprise birthday party that Kristen Stewart enjoyed with him over her birthday weekend. Some thought the outing with friends to Harvard & Stone in L.A. was an impromptu visit, but it had been planned weeks ahead of time.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Rob wanted the evening to be special for Kristen, but he didn't want it to be really obvious to outsiders that it was a birthday celebration. He even turned down the establishment's offer to provide a birthday cake.
"Rob planned the whole thing a few weeks ago. He talked to the owners and managers about it and wanted to make sure everyone could get in and out without too much trouble," a source says.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart celebrated her 22nd birthday a couple of days ahead of schedule, and their PDA was very typical for the rather shy Twilight couple.
According to a report from Entertainmentwise.com, never big on particularly overt PDA, Rob and Kristen held hands and put their arms around each other from time to time. It was clear, however, that they're very much in love.

These are some reasons why people love Kristen Stewart... I'm one of them.. before, I would like to say to

Fallon Prinzivalli in Birthday Bash who had the same thought with me about her..

1. She's kind to her fans. Kristen may not be the most outgoing celebrity, but when asked for a picture or autograph the actress doesn't hesitate to say "yes" to the requests.
2. From "Speak" to "Adventureland," Kristen's played multiple characters that prove her ability to take on any role and own it.
3. She cares about her craft as an actress. Robert Pattinson has been quoted saying, "Kristen is always really good, but also clearly speaks her mind. That can be a bit uncomfortable. After we shoot a scene she sometimes looks at the director and says, 'Let's do that again.'" We think that's a good thing!
4. Kristen usually steps out in jeans and a T-shirt wherever she goes, but we love her ability to hit the red carpet looking flawless in a fabulous dress.

09 april 2012 is Kristen Stewart's 22nd birthday! The last 12 months have been huge for the actress. Breaking Dawn: Part 1 hit theaters, she got her hand and footprints on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and she wrapped up shooting Snow White and the Huntsman. KStew And RPatz Have A Burlesque Birthday!

Looks like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson got to spend some quality time together for KStew’s birthday weekend!

The Twilight real-life couple made their way around Hollywood Saturday, hitting up Harvard & Stone bar!!

Both KStew and RPatz were dressed casually and avoided drawing any attention towards themselves upon their entrance.

Though for the most part going unnoticed, an onlooker who spotted them said:

"They were having lots of drinks on the top floor of the bar and seemed to be having fun."

Not big on dancing, Kristen and Robert chatted it up with friends while checking out a burlesque show at the bar and ended up heading out for some birthday sex around 1:30am!!

Kristen Stewart has reportedly put boyfriend Robert Pattinson on a diet...

The 22-year-old actress - who also plays Robert's on-screen lover in the 'Twilight' franchise - has apparently ordered him to hit the gym and lose some of the weight he's gained during his time off.
A source said: 'Robert's put on nearly 10lbs eating cheeseburgers and drinking beer while he's not been working.

'Kristen's told him to pull himself together. He hates the gym, so she's encouraged him to take up paddle surfing to try and work off the excess calories.'
But the 'Water for Elephants' star did not seem to be too upset by the constructive criticism when he splashed out on film-making equipment for Kristen's 22nd birthday.
The insider told the Daily Star newspaper: 'Robert has been searching shops in Hollywood for movie equipment.

Even though it was reported that Kristen Stewart has put boyfriend Robert Pattinson on diet, the pair were looking particularly loved-up this weekend while they were celebrating K-Stew's 22nd birthday.

The private couple held a bash at the Harvard & Stone bar in Los Angeles last Saturday night (April 7), where they were seen holding hands and putting protective arms around one another.
A source told Hollywood Life that it was actually Rob that had put together Kristen's party.
“Rob planned the whole thing a few weeks ago. He talked to the owners and managers about it and wanted to make sure everyone could get in and out without too much trouble," the insider said.
The Twilight star had even dished out invites to their close pals so that they could be very relaxed for the evening.
